Hi!

My name is Brydin Banning, and I’ve been working as an Admissions Counselor since January of 2009. I’m originally from Richmond, Virginia, but I’ve lived in Fairfax since 2005 when I began college at Mason. I graduated summa cum laude in December of 2008 with a BA in Communication with a concentration in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication and minors in Business and Arts Administration. When I wasn’t in class or studying (which was how I spent a majority of my time), I was doing one of two things: interning or dancing. I took advantage of four internships while I was in school, including spending a summer at the Wolf Trap Foundation of the Performing Arts. My last internship was here in the Admissions office, which led to my current job! Obviously I couldn’t get enough of school, as I am now pursuing my Master’s in Arts Management.

If you haven’t already noticed, I have a definite affinity for the performing arts. I started dancing when I was four years old and haven’t stopped since. While a student at Mason, I was a member of Urbanknowlogy 101, GMU's hip-hop dance troupe, and some of my fondest memories are from our performances on campus and throughout the local community. I’m currently taking dance classes in Washington, DC, but I’ll certainly be looking for a studio while recruiting in New York.

Being a very recent graduate, I’d love to share the rest my experiences with you. If you can’t make it to a college fair I’m attending, feel free to contact me!
