Hey guys! My name is Emily Archambeault and I am a senior admissions counselor at George Mason University. I was born and raised in Lynchburg, VA where I attended Heritage High School (Go Pioneers!). I played 3 sports and was very active in the band while at HHS. I then attended the University of Virginia and graduated in May 2007 with a BA in American Studies and Government. At UVa I spent most of my time giving tours, participating in student organizations, hanging out with friends, and studying (actually just hanging out) in my favorite library. I am so excited to be at Mason now and to be living so close to Washington DC. Both the school and the area have such a wide array of opportunities and exciting things to do!

Away from work I love to spend time outdoors, especially going running and hiking. I enjoy playing the piano, all sports (especially college football and basketball), and of course, spending time with my family and friends. I’m very close to my family, and my favorite thing in the world is when my entire extended family gets together for holidays and special occasions. It is always a huge party! I love good food (especially sushi), relaxing weekends, and lying on my couch watching ESPN.
