Hello!
My name is Grace and I am an admissions counselor at George Mason University. I would like to tell you a little about myself, where I am from, what my interests are, etc.
I was born and raised in Texas. I had actually never even left the state until I was a teenager! I received both my bachelor’s degree in political science and my master’s degree in education administration from Texas institutions. In addition to going to school, I was also a full-time high school teacher for two years. I taught World Geography and World History. I recently moved to the beautiful state of Virginia about a year ago and began working for the Admissions Office here at Mason.
In my short time here I have come to LOVE Mason!!! The campus is beautiful, and both the students and staff are wonderful. Everybody is so friendly and always willing to help. Just a few things I love other than this university: roller coasters, my sorority sisters of Delta Zeta, working with students, the beach, The Hills, American politics and mi familia.
I will be working with students from Texas and Delaware this year, so if you are from this area (or anywhere else in the world), feel free to email me any questions about the admissions process and I will do everything possible to help you.
