Hello! My name is Stephen Steppe and I am an Assistant Director here at Mason. I grew up in Burke VA, about 20 minutes outside Washington DC, and went to James W. Robinson High School. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I consider myself very lucky to be a part of the Mason Community and having my family close by to share the experience with; including my brother who currently attends Mason. One of my greatest memories as a student was cheering on the men’s basketball team during their Final Four run in 2006.

Being from around the local area I work closely with recruiting in Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. I earned my Bachelors degree in 2006 majoring in Government and International Politics with a concentration in public affairs. During my college days I was also very active in many different organizations on campus and look forward to sharing my college experience with those interested in Mason.
