Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
The University awards credit for many AP exams. New freshmen should request that their official AP exam results be sent to the Office of Admissions at testing time. George Mason University’s AP school code is 5827. Questions regarding AP exams may be directed to the College Board at: www.collegeboard.com.
NOTE: AP exams may have equal equivalency at George Mason University however; duplicate credit will not be awarded. Students may only receive advanced standing once for a particular George Mason University course.
