International Baccalaureate (IB)
George Mason University recognizes the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program and awards academic credit for successful scores on all of the Higher Level (HL) examinations and some of the Standard Level (SL) exams. New freshmen should request that their official IB exam results be sent to the Office of Admissions at testing time. Questions regarding IB exam results may be directed to the International Baccalaureate Organization at: www.ibo.org.
NOTE: IB exams may have equal equivalency at George Mason University however; duplicate credit will not be awarded. Students may only receive advanced standing once for a particular George Mason University course.
