Merit Scholarship Consideration

Whether you are a Virginia resident or from out of state, Mason's tuition, already the most reasonable in the Washington, D.C., region, can be complemented by competitive scholarships.

If you wish to be considered for a scholarship, please make sure to check the appropriate box on the application form. Note that the deadline for scholarship consideration is December 1. No additional application is required; however, you may be asked to provide additional information if you are being considered for specific scholarships.

The number of scholarships available is limited and the consideration process is highly competitive. In addition to your academic credentials, the selection committee will also consider information included in your "Personal Statement" concerning leadership achievements and service contributions.

Scholarships are renewable for up to four years, based on maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.00 at Mason.
