ACCESS Program

ACCESS is an exciting new program designed for academically qualified undergraduate international students who need additional English language proficiency assistance. ACCESS allows freshmen students to work on their academic English language skills while taking a full-time academic course load toward their Bachelor’s degree.

ACCESS students are admitted to George Mason University provisionally and can earn up to 27 credits toward their degree during the first year of study while receiving additional English language support through courses taught by Mason academic and English Language Institute faculty.
