International Admission Requirements

At Mason, we value our global campus population and it is our aim to make the admissions process as straightforward as possible.

Please read the sections below and determine which applicant category best represents your individual situation.

• Freshman
  Students who completed secondary school and have not enrolled in a regular session at any college or university.
• Transfer
  Students who completed some coursework at a post-secondary institution.
• Graduate Student
  Students who completed a 4-year U.S. bachelors degree or the equivalent.
  Graduate applicants who have completed any university study outside of the United States must follow the International Transcript Submission Guidelines (PDF).
• Additional information for U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents living abroad or possessing international academic credentials.
