GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

For consideration for graduate admission, all applicants must submit the following:

  • A completed Application for Graduate Study
  • A nonrefundable application fee
  • Two official transcripts sent directly to the Office of Admissions from all previous institutions attended, or forwarded to us in a sealed envelope, signed by your previous institution(s).
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Official test scores for GRE, GMAT, LSAT, MAT, etc. sent directly from testing agency, if required by your program
  • Other materials specified by program such as department form, portfolio, or interview

If you completed your undergraduate degree outside the U.S., please review the requirements for international applicants for additional needed documents.

George Mason University only accepts applications for graduate and non-degree programs from colleges and universities that hold the following accreditation:
