Housing

Mason's dynamic educational experience is further enhanced by our vibrant living/learning community. Almost 5000 students call the residence halls at Mason their home and our on-campus community is still growing. We plan to house 900 additional students by 2010! On-campus living offers students a safe and convenient location just minutes away from your classes. Housing options available to undergraduate and graduate students include apartment, townhouse, suite, and traditional corridor style living. Freshmen who meet all deadlines and payments are guaranteed on campus housing for all four years at Mason.

Clubs & Organizations

You will have the opportunity to explore more than 200 clubs and student organizations that will further your educational experience and connect you with a myriad of students, faculty, and staff. Choose from an array of exciting opportunities including multicultural organizations such as the Korean Student Association, pursue academic ambitions with clubs like Model UN, or simply unwind with the badminton club team. Office of International Programs and Services (OIPS)

The transition to life in the United States and an American curriculum is bound to leave you with some questions. The Office of International Programs and Services (OIPS) is dedicated to making your transition and your experience seamless and enjoyable. Any questions you may have regarding immigration status, community involvement, and your adjustment to the U.S. can be answered by visiting the Office of International Programs and Services website.

Athletics

Mason offers all students the opportunity to learn and grow through participation in our various athletic and sports programs. Mason sports programs promote leadership and build friendship among many students from various backgrounds. We offer Division I intercollegiate athletics in twenty sports for both men and women. Additionally, Mason students have the opportunity to participate in numerous intramural sports including volleyball, lacrosse, field hockey, and equestrian.

University Career Services

Our proximity to Washington, DC combined with the expertise of our University Career Services Office will put you at a competitive edge in the global job market. Career Services offers you individual career counseling, resume critiques, job interview preparation, and a number of opportunities to connect with employers for jobs and internships. The Mason Job Fair, visits to employer work sites, frequent workshops, and graduate school open houses are held often to help you prepare for your chosen career and plan for your future.
